Spider-Man Movie Reboot Casts ‘Zendaya’ for Main Role!

Today we have to report the first casting news for Sony Pictures new Spider-Man Movie reboot since we learned that Tom Holland would be playing Spider-Man. Disney channel actress and singer ‘Zendaya‘ has been cast for a main role. Whether or not this is going to be Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy, we do not know yet. So who is Zendaya playing? Deadline notes that her character’s name is Michelle, which is either a red herring or she’s playing a new character to the series and not one of Parker’s standard love interests Gwen Stacey or Mary Jane [Update: A few readers have pointed out she could be playing Michele Gonzales, a character from the comics who becomes Parker’s roommate and love interest]. source: collider.com
